- Nicola Amico joined STARC in September 2009. He received an MA degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Viterbo, Italy, in 2006. He was previously a Fellowship Researcher at the Institute of Technologies Applied to Cultural Heritage (CNR), Rome. He has participated in a number of international projects on the development of topographical and photogrammetric surveys of archaeological areas. He has taught differential GPS techniques in the IV Training Course of High Formation in “Digital Integrated Technologies applied to Cultural Heritage: from the data field acquisition to the communication through Virtual Reality systems” 2009.
- Research Interests
- Development of survey integrated techniques (DGPS, Total Station, photogrammetry); elaboration of photogrammetric data and 3D modeling.
