Jorge Moreno graduated in Industrial Engineering at University Carlos III of Madrid in 2020. He also holds two master diplomas from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Industrial Engineering and Energy Engineering.
Since September 2023 Jorge is a PhD student/Graduate Research Fellow on a full-time basis under the supervision of Professor Manuel Jesus Blanco.
As a PhD student Jorge joined the Energy, Environment and Atmospheric Sciences program, while as a Graduate Research Fellow is working on Solar Technologies in the TOPCSP Network. The research topic is “Generative designs of solar towers receivers”, whose purpose is the development of a computational framework to automatically generate receiver designs using artificial intelligence tools.
