The Cyprus Institute

Antonia joined The Cyprus Institute in September 2021 as a Research Assistant in Digital Archaeology. Prior to this, she spent 8 years in London working and gaining experience in archaeology. Antonia has been involved in several excavations both in the UK and in Cyprus and before joining the Institute worked with the Committee of Missing Persons in Cyprus, locating and excavating burial sites and mass graves.

 

She has obtained a BSc in Anthropology from the University of Roehampton, an MSc in Forensic Archaeology from Bournemouth University and has recently completed an MSc in Digital Cultural Heritage at the Graduate School of The Cyprus Institute. She is now starting as a PhD student in the Science and Technology in Archaeology and Culture Research Center of The Cyprus Institute.
