Konstantina joined the Climate and Atmosphere Research Center (CARE-C) of The Cyprus Institute as an intern in June 2022. Since October 2022 is pursuing a Ph.D. degree jointly offered by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and The Cyprus Institute. The research project is “Coupling Climate Change to Cities for Spatial and Temporal Variable Heat Mitigation Measures”.
She received an MSc in Environmental Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in March 2022, and her thesis was titled “Downscaling regional climate models for improving the climate projections of the urban thermal environment”. She obtained a BSc in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in September 2020 and her thesis was titled “Assessment of changes in selected climate indicators related to heating and cooling energy demand in the area of Greece”.
