Myrianthi Hadjicharalambous is a Scientific Coordinator at the RIMS Office and CaSToRC of the Cyprus Institute. Main activities include the coordination, management and reporting of national and EU-funded projects, participation in proposal preparation and organization of communication and networking activities. She is also coordinating the EuroCC-2 project, which focuses on promoting advanced technologies (High Performance Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, High Performance Data Analytics) in Europe.
Myrianthi’s educational background was focused on mathematical modelling and computational simulations for biomedical engineering applications, with a BSc in Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences, an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. At the core of her research was the development of patient-specific computational models for disease assessment and therapy planning. Throughout her research work she has accumulated substantial experience in preparation of proposals for individual fellowships and collaborative projects, coordination and management of research projects, supervision of MSc and PhD students, teaching along with communication and dissemination activities.
