Abstract
In the era of Analytics many Universities around the world are trying to create new graduate MS programs on various Analytics Statistics and Data Science programs.
We will explore the STAN MS program at the University of Arkansas in addition to a few other very highly successful Analytics programs. A free online resource with several modules that cover many of the basic ideas of the core courses and principles common to most of these analytics curricula with free software and data is going to presented and demonstrated for the audience
About The Speaker
Professor Mauromoustakos is a consulting PhD statistician who teaches Applied Graduate Statistics courses and supports through collaboration with Life Sciences researchers of the University of Arkansas and the Experiment Station.
As a statistician for the Agricultural Statistics Laboratory, he assists with experimental design and performs statistical analysis of research in the Environmental and Biological Sciences. His research interests are design and analysis of experiments, generalized linear models, exploratory data analysis, statistical packages / computing, and spatial analysis and data mining.
