Maria Constantinou

Maria Constantinou joined The Cyprus Institute in September 2022. She is currently a Senior Education and Training Officer at the Office of Graduate Studies. She holds a PhD and an MSc in Classics from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Classical Studies and Philosophy from the University of Cyprus. Prior to joining The Cyprus Institute, she held the role of Senior EU Project Officer at a private company, where she was responsible for the composition of EU project proposals and the management and implementation of EU projects. She has also served as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Bamberg (Germany) and as an adjunct lecturer at the Open University of Cyprus and academic coordinator of the Industry Liaison Office of the same university. She has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Edinburgh and as a teacher of classical languages, civilization, and modern Greek at Fettes College and the Hellenic School of St Andrew in Edinburgh.
