Michalis completed his Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in History at the University of Cyprus and at the University of St. Andrews respectively. After graduating, he discovered his passion for oral history working as a researcher at the Union of Cyprus Oral History.
Michalis is currently a PhD student at the STARC laboratory under the supervision of Dr George Artopoulos. His research aims to integrate oral history through interviews and crowdsourcing, as methods which could expand the field of Digital Cultural Heritage to other perspectives, whilst also promoting the closer engagement of the community with their respective cultural heritage sites.
