Theoni Panagiotopoulou

Theoni Panagiotopoulou

Theoni Panagiotopoulou joined the Cyprus Institute Graduate School as a PhD candidate in September 2025, specialising in archaeometry-bioarcheology. The focus of her work is stable and radioactive isotope analysis of Bronze Age skeletal material from Crete and Cyprus. She holds a BA in History and Archaeology from the University of Ioannina (2020) and an MSc in Archaeological Sciences and Human Evolution from the University of Tübingen (2023).
 
She has experience in excavation, having participated in various sites in Greece and Germany, as well as laboratory skills gained while working as a HiWi at the University of Tübingen. Beyond academia, she is interested in promoting archaeological communication through her podcast ΑρχαίοΚαπηλειό.
