CyΙ Provides Expert Support for Digital Applications and 3D Models that will be Used in the New Cyprus Archaeological Museum Featured
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Antiquities, Τhe Cyprus Institute provides expert work to support the digital applications and 3D models of the new Cyprus Archaeological Museum.
Building on results from earlier projects, CyI’s APAC Labs team are digitizing a number of archaeological objects and sites, while the VeLab team is creating digital reconstructions of selected archaeological monuments.
On Monday, 1st September 2025, the teams from VeLab and APAC Labs met with the team from the Department of Antiquities responsible for the implementation of the new Museum, to discuss current progress and future steps in this important collaboration.
